When an entitled influencer loses everything, she must humbly trust God to understand what the meaning of true influence is. Desperate, she takes a job at a homeless shelter only so she has a place to lay her head and quickly realizes the joy and purpose that comes from serving others.

Cassandra’s Review- Down and out with just her own ego and basically completely ignoring the importance of life, the main character has a turning point and a come to Jesus moment with the help of a budding romance and humiliation. It is a lighthearted romance with a side of humor and a lot of faith.

A great reminder that we all need to focus on the bigger picture.

Cassandra’s Review- A beautiful voice, a messed up addiction to alcohol and a way to redemption. The cast makes this story come to life and while it is encouraged to discuss the dangers of alcohol with any age, the message of God’s love is flowing all through the storyline.

With beautiful font and easier to read wording for younger kids the youth books are a great gift. The Vibes You Feel is a fantastic read that is for older ages and it is a very nice resource of empowerment.

Characters & Background

• Kelsey is shocked and stuck after being left at the altar – unsure of everything she thought was God’s plan for her life. She abandons her faith and church.

• Kelsey is ashamed and embarrassed to confront her neighbors and community after what happened. After missionaries from Taiwan visit her church, she sees a job there as an opportunity to start fresh. Her sister encourages her to go.

• Kelsey’s first several days overwhelm her, but her pride won’t allow her to admit defeat.

• Kelsey’s adventures and explorations of the country continue, her students warm up to her, but Kelsey knows her time there is expiring. 

• The school throws a big Christmas party at the end of the semester.

• Students ask Kelsey to help them learn and perform a play based off the Biblical book of Ruth.

Cassandra’s Review- A family friendly movie that has touching moments, love and faith. The cast does a great job of keeping you in the storyline and the more heartfelt plot is sincere enough that you will feel inspired by the ending.
