The six-episode series from AFFIRM Originals premieres the first two episodes on Friday, February 24, with new episodes following every Friday. The series is about Cody Gunnar, a nationally-renowned bull rider who is cocky, brash and a legend among his peers. On track to the top, Cody has rejected everything about his past – his famous father, hurting mother and every woman who ever came along. His heart only has room for his younger brother, Carl Joseph. That’s when barrel racer Ali Daniels enters his life. Only God knows how many tomorrows they will have together. Can Cody and Ali make the most of their time in the dangerous and competitive rodeo world?

“I can really relate to my character Cody Gunnar,” said actor Colin Ford. “I grew up a Christian, but didn’t really practice my faith in my youth and that’s changed a lot in the last few years. Cody experienced trials and tribulations in his childhood and was focused on surviving. It’s not until he meets Ali that he learns faith is what can sustain him through love and loss.”

The series stars Colin Ford (Daybreak, Upcoming THE HILL, CAPTAIN MARVEL), Rose Reid (SWEET, SWEET SUMMERTIME, A WELCOME HOME CHRISTMAS), Cole Sibus (Stumptown, SPARE ROOM), Anne Leighton (NCIS, GOD’S NOT DEAD: A LIGHT IN DARKNESS), Kate Easton (FAITH UNDER FIRE), KC Clyde (Yellowstone, YES DAY) and CK Bolado. Cassandra’s Review- There is brand name advertising and alcohol as a main focus along with picking up a random female at a bar and some more adult themes. So I would not recommend for children or as family friendly. The storyline is good and I watched episode one as part of my review so at the end there were a lot of questions left unanswered. Great for older viewers, also trigger warning for anyone who is sensitive to rodeo, bull riding or calf roping, horse contests as I know some viewers might not like the treatment of the animals. I’m excited to see what the mystery illness is and if there will be a love interest budding in the coming episodes.

Cassandra’s Review- The beautiful artistry and thick pages that are large, make this book a pleasure to hold. The story is cute and great for story time. Young readers will enjoy learning about the actual bears and seeing the paw prints featured in the last few pages of this family friendly read.

Cassandra’s Review- Just in time for Valentine’s Day this film will remind us that opening your heart can be rewarding even if it’s not always easy. Trusting in God and trying even when the world seems bleak can change your lives in even the simplest ways. Never give up doing good for yourself and sharing grace with others. The cast is inviting and the theme is warm with tones of humor that is great for older audiences.
