Cassandra's Review-  The ice cream center is delightful and amazing.  The outer layer is like a gum, taffy dough mixture that takes a bit to get used to.  There are a lot of different flours involved and it is so different than ice cream in my area.  I do have one tip and that is to really let it get warmer like for about 4 minutes before eating because my thumb tip and was like stuck and frozen to it, super super cold.  It's like chewing gum and eating ice cream at the same time, so when your body is telling you not to swallow gum (if that was your rule growing up) then its a bit of again getting used to.  I would enjoy it if this was just the ice cream, because that it so yum fest.  The older kids enjoyed trying something new and it is fun to squish or play with.

Cassandra's review-  A Bible is both beautiful and sometimes very difficult to read or understand.  The options out there are endless and there are so many different meanings or styles that a reader can use from them.   I feel like if you sway towards the authors religious views and have been taught that way of thinking, then this book is going to be a huge way to get your faith on.  It has a style unlike most with the extra help blended in to create the meaningful and enriching experience.

The Confidence Code for Girls by Katty Kay Review

Girls can rule the world—all they need is confidence. This empowering, entertaining guide from the bestselling authors of The Confidence Code gives girls the essential yet elusive code to becoming bold, brave, and fearless.

It’s a paradox familiar to parents everywhere: girls are achieving like never before, yet they’re consumed with doubt on the inside. Girls worry constantly about how they look, what people think, whether to try out for a sports team or school play, why they aren’t getting “perfect” grades, and how many likes and followers they have online.

Katty Kay and Claire Shipman use cutting-edge science and research, as well as proven methods of behavioral change, to reach girls just when they need it the most—the tween and teen years.

Packed with graphic novel strips; appealing illustrations; fun lists, quizzes, and challenges; and true stories from tons of real girls, The Confidence Code for Girls teaches girls to embrace risk, deal with failure, and be their most authentic selves.

If you or the girl in your life loved The Gutsy Girl or Rad American Women A-Z, you'll love this.

Cassandra's review- Get ready to be empowered with fun and challenging mind games, what I mean to say is that this book opens and restores the mind while inputting fresh ideas or tactics to help empower females.  I like that it is great for ages 8-12 but can help any age female to build a positive experience while reading.
