Crated with Love Subscription Box Review

In 2014 Tyler and Michelle Turk founded the subscription box service Crated with Love.

The mission at Crated with Love is to keep the best part of your relationship alive and thriving through love and laughter with creative, simple date ideas.

Many other subscription boxes focus on the items within.  These are a little different. Every item in each box has a designated purpose in building skills in your relationship.  They do not source items based on price or perceived value, but rather on how well they connect with their theme and activities. If you are looking to get a bunch of “things”, Crated with Love may not be the best fit. However, if you are looking for specialized date night activities focused on improving your relationship skills as a couple, they are there for you!

I can’t tell you. Why? Part of the recipe for a great date is a little mystery and spontaneity. The surprise activities will help you connect more intimately with your partner. What I CAN tell you is that you will have a fantastic time if you put forth the effort. Each box has a specific theme and with that theme comes 3-4 date activities, games, or projects, all centered around romance and laughter, two crucial ingredients to a healthy relationship.

I received complimentary product.

Cassandra's Review-  I had mixed feelings about the boxes I received, while I do understand that they are created for the pourpose of helping people who would not otherwise be able to start up a session like this, I still feel that with some creative thinking you could replicate this stuff at home. The bottom line for me with this is basically it depends on why and who you gift this box to that will make all the difference.

I am not going to say that these are not thoughtfully packed or that they are not going to help to bring a couple closer.   I think that if there is some kind of lacking in a relationship, the thought starters and goals may really be appreciated.

You will need to have a partner, you will also need to be ready for anything, because at some point over sharing might even lead to other things both good and bad.  There has to be a great effort and time spent on these boxes to really get the full effect of the worth they offer.

While these might have not been the perfect fit for me, I still feel they are worth sharing about and could benefit my readers.

Good Night Tales by C.S. Fritz Review

Good Night Tales: A Family Treasury of Read-Aloud Stories
by C.S. Fritz

Good Night Tales leads your children through a vivid, beautiful, and imaginative adventure through Scriptural truths. This collection of Scripture-based stories brings a forest to life through animal kings, trolls, plum-loving giants, and fiddle-playing crickets. Stories include reimaginings of Israel asking for a new king, parables about searching for the kingdom of God, and Psalm 23

I received a complimentary copy.

Cassandra's review-  The book is written for people with a strong imagination, it is perfect for young ones and with the added illustrations creates a group of really cute stories.  It is faith based, but not preachy although you do get the meanings if not subtly.  I enjoyed not only reading it outloud to my whole family, but also sharing this one with friends.

Cassandra's review- A great book of unique and beautiful Christmas illustrations, that any age will enjoy coloring and the pages are thick enough to use marker or you can even tear them out, if you do not mind destruction of the book.   It is compact enough to fit in a bag for on the go, so the kids will have something fun or you can destress during the holiday.

Cassandra's review- An easy to read children's book, or a book that is easy for you to read to your child.  It is simple enough to read in a sitting or a few pages a night before bed.   I think the author shares a good message along with a fantastic read for younger children, but really any age would benefit from the meaning.
