Cassandra's Review-  Well this is mainly a review from one of my pickiest reviewers, She will not eat just anything and usually turns her nose up and walks away or tries to eat something and then throw up.  So I was super excited that she not only literally ran away with the heart but happily kept it down.

Both my cats and dogs will be able to share these as well as my foster strays but they are not picky at all. Being able to buy one kind of treats that both a dog and a cat can eat is a huge saver of money except they will go fast.

For me is was a little odd to hold a freeze dried chicken heart, but I used gloves and it does not break well as far as trying to split it up, but it did not matter because my fur baby tore it up.  The salmon was a nice treat as well for her but it was a bit hard to chew the first few tries and I think the dogs will love it more.

The Fantastic Adventures of Sticky by Rene Cournoyer Review

Sticky the Elf has a special gift. He can shoot bubblegum from his hands and stick to things-- like falling boxes he stops from crashing to the floor. He also likes sleeping--a LOT!

Now Sticky and his two best friends, Dumbley the dwarf and Robyn the elf, are headed on a Fantastic Adventure. They will journey from their sheltered, fantasy village of Shendale, hidden from human eyes in the forest to the real world of humans, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - 1776.

Along the way, this special elf will help everyone he meets, spreading his special brand of cheer and humor. He also learns a few special lessons of friendship, loyalty, and a touch of human history. Join Sticky and his friends as they embark on this Fantastic Adventure. With bubblegum goodness along the way!

Cassandra's Review-  A clean fantasy book that middle grade and younger kids can enjoy.  It has a fun story with characters that your kids can enjoy spending time with.  I think the author does a good job of placing just the right amount story to keep little minds from wandering.

Unraveling MS by M.D., Ph.D., Robert W Soll Review

Many autoimmune diseases actually are quite common, and any one of them may significantly affect your health. These diseases can be further identified and pointed out as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, celiac sprue, multiple sclerosis (MS), and even some types of coronary atherosclerosis. Altogether, there are over 80 diseases that have been associated with an autoimmune origin. Although each autoimmune disease involves the immune system, they differ in that each affects a different organ or tissue.

In this book, Unraveling MS, multiple sclerosis is used as the “model” to explain how the immune system actually is harming your own body rather than defending and rejuvenating it. This is accomplished by describing the immune system in simple, easy-to-understand language for the average lay person. In addition, the fascinating way that white blood cells are communicating with each other, and the dreadful role that viruses are playing in inciting an autoimmune disease are similarly discussed.

Since the process underlying all autoimmune diseases is inflammatory, the good news is that correct diet surprisingly is one way to minimize inflammation and improve an autoimmune disease. In addition to providing information about MS and other autoimmune diseases, this book should be very helpful to those individuals seeking to understand the importance of the immune system and the significant role that both diet and infection play in health and longevity.

The adverse effect of infection on health is well-known, and bad dietary habits also have been related to poor health and a shortened life expectancy. So, if you, a relative or a friend have an autoimmune disease, or if you’re looking for more answers on understanding and managing a healthy life, you’ve come to the right place!"

Cassandra's Review- The book will help not only people suffering with Ms, but also others who want to learn about it.  I think the author gives great information in a way that breaks it down so that the reader gets max use without a lot of boring in between.
