Let Food Be Your Medicine by Don Colbert Review @Worthypub @DonColbert #Food #Medicine

Most of us think God is not concerned with what we eat, but the Bible actually offers great insight and instruction about the effects of food on our bodies. Dr. Colbert introduces a revolutionary sugar detox method, combined with an anti-inflammatory form of the modified Mediterranean diet that resolves a broad spectrum of diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, dementia, cancer, and osteoarthritis. Just imagine understanding how food alone can produce mental clarity, balanced weight, and longevity. Includes meal plans.

Cassandra's Review-  I am not a huge fan of jumping on diet trends or going extreme in eating patterns.   The book is a great help in that you can understand and learn from it.  There are tips and facts that may save your life, if you have a problem getting your eating on track.

I was really enjoying this book because it has so much to offer no matter what food options you want in your life.   The author is very knowledgable and has a real wanting to help because it shows in the way he wrote the chapters and how he chose to share with the readers.

To live an authentic, fulfilled life we need to both understand and practice the core beliefs of the Christian faith. Being intentional about pursuing Christ is often challenging in our confusing, messy world, but like the biblical character Daniel who did not compromise his values, we must take small, deliberate steps to grow in spiritual integrity. The short, inspirational devotions in Authentic Living illustrate how we can be more deliberate in our faith each and every day through small actions like asking forgiveness, offering guidance, praying specifically, and more. With these simple yet profound readings, we can realize a more fulfilling life and faith one thought, one action, one day at a time.

Cassandra's Review-  The book is written in a way that you can share a few minutes with it each day and get a good dose of faith.  It was easy for me to understand and I think that if you like a good helping of spiritual growth and goodness, this is going to be a great read.   I would recommend this book to anyone who is old enough to read and understand it on their own and also to parents that wish to share faith based material with the kids.
