How to Stage a Catastrophe by Rebecca Donnelly @CapstoneYR @CapstonePub

ACT 1: The Juicebox Theater is about ready for the recycling bin.

ACT 2: Sidney and Folly consider a crime. [You have to read it to see if we commit a crime, that's called suspense.]

ACT 3: Sidney and Folly save the Juicebox Children's Theater! [It's not giving anything away to tell you that. We don't want you to worry.] Sidney Camazzola plans to be the director of the Juicebox Theater when he grows up.

But the theater is in danger of closing, and he and his friends know they need a plan to save it - and fast. Hilarious and heartwarming, the mission to save a failing community theater unites a riotous cast of characters in this offbeat middle-grade novel.

Cassandra's review- As an adult is was hard for me to enjoy the book, it was way past what I thought even a middle school child would really be entertained buy.  The whole story is pretty much laid out on the back cover and that was not the best choice for a book.   There are a few more things included but it will really capture the youngest kids, but only if they can read and understand the words.   It is also written a bit like a play which throws the story into a different direction from a good paced full read.

Cassandra's review- A well made easy to use larger book. It is a great help for me as I prefer using the traditional paper and pen method of organizing my work. The only thing I would have changed was the spiral easy to rip out pages as they tend to fall out while I still need them.

@VeggieTales The Best Christmas Ever By Melinda Rumbaugh Review @WorthyPub

THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!
VeggieTales The Best Christmas Gift Ever!
A new VeggieTales board book about the true meaning of Christmas

In this festive VeggieTales book, the Veggies are celebrating Christmas—decorating the tree, singing carols, and exchanging gifts. But in the middle of all the activity—though it’s so much fun to give and receive presents—the Veggies all know that the greatest gift of all was God’s gift of Jesus, his Son. Children will love the colorful art featuring their favorite Veggie friends. Parents can use this book to introduce little ones to Jesus’ birth as the reason we rejoice at Christmastime.
