Itsy Bitsy Christmas You're Never Too Little for His Love By Max Lucado Review

I know it is a little early for this book, but it is going to be great to have this season.

"The King has come! Even for a little one like me!"

Do you ever feel like you are too small or too ordinary? This is just how Itsy and Bitsy feel. When these two charming little mice hear that a King is coming to Bethlehem, they set off with great enthusiasm to find Him. Along the way, they are met with discouraging words telling them they are too little and unimportant for any king. Just when Itsy and Bitsy begin to believe they really aren't big enough for the new King, they learn that Christ the King has indeed come for everyone.

Crafted by bestselling author and master storyteller Max Lucado, Itsy Bitsy Christmas helps children understand God's great love and know that He sent His Son for all of us--little or big, young or old.

Cassandra's Review - Just a quick childrens book that goes by kind of fast during the read, but my family will keep it forever because of the strong message and spiritual blessings that it gives.   Whenever you can find a great, clean book for all ages that can be read during even a quick tuck in it is a treasure.

KNOWHEN® Saliva Ovulation test #ad @Knowhen

Representing the first significant innovation in the pregnancy planning category in years, this at-home kit tests saliva, not urine, for accurate ovulation tracking.

Traditional urine testing monitors for a sudden and short-lived surge in luteinizing hormones, while KNOWHEN tests the saliva for a more gradual and steady increase in estrogen. Each morning before brushing teeth or consuming coffee, the user simply places a drop of saliva on the kit’s microscope. When dry, she looks for a distinct fernlike pattern, which indicates the likelihood of becoming pregnant on that particular day.

The kit also offers an excellent value since it is re-usable on a daily basis, indefinitely. That means it also eliminates the guesswork that comes with urine test kits, since there are typically only offer a limited quantity of strips.

KNOWHEN also comes with a free tracking app that over time, charts a woman’s menstruation, ovulation and  activity history. This is an invaluable resource that helps women better understand their reproductive health, and one they can share with their doctors as appropriate.

The Domino Effect by Davis Bunn Review

Cover Art

Esther Larsen, a top risk analyst at one of the country's largest banking institutions, is becoming more and more convinced that she has uncovered a ticking bomb with the potential to make the 2008 market crash look minor by comparison. And as her own employer pursues "investment" strategies with ever-increasing levels of risk, she becomes convinced she must do something. But Esther is only one person; can she stand up to an international conspiracy of greed? And if she does, will anyone take her seriously?

Every moment of indecision edges the markets closer to a tipping point--the teetering first domino in a standing row that circles the globe. And when Esther finds her voice, those she seeks to expose will not sit idly by. With global markets on the brink, and her own life in danger, Esther is locked in a race against the clock to avert a financial tsunami that threatens worldwide devastation.

Cassandra's Review-  The author has obvious knowledge of finances and the financial world in my opinion because of how this book is written with most of it included.   I was not sure if a thriller could be made out of the chosen topics, but it all meshes together to create a really good read.  While I would recommend this book more so for adults, I think mature teens might like it as well.

Baby, Baby! Board book by Diane Stortz Review and #babybaby #flyby Giveaway

A sweet, colorful board book that appeals to a baby's interest in looking at other babies
Babies enjoy books, looking at other babies, and their own flowering abilities. This short rhyming poem combines all three in a sweet and happy way, while introducing babies to God's love for them. The simple words are paired with colorful images of babies engaging in familiar activities, allowing the book to be used as an introductory concept book as well. And it ends with a reminder that Baby is always loved by God.

Cassandra's Review-  A sweet book that my younger family members really like, when I read with a softer voice.  It has a very nice ending and the added mirror makes children feel super important, which of course they are.
