LOVE AND BLESSED BOX Review and Contest Giveaway #LoveAndBlessed #FlyBy

Unlike many subscription boxes, loved+blessed® is about hope and encouragement, rather than products.  As a cause box, they measure the value of their boxes a little differently than many other companies.

Each month they send a box of encouragement to your loved+blessed® ladies with a different theme that they hope will brighten their month, help them get through the challenges of life and help them to pass encouragement along to someone else.

I recevied a complimentary box.

I think this is a great gift for older people who might be lonely and really need a gift of encouragement.  My box included 1 sticker, a plastic birdhouse a little smaller then my hand and two plastic bird/keychain/whistles that both were small enough to fit inside it as well as a super mini poster and a credit card sized scripture card that I hung on my wall instead of placing in my purse as it would just get lost.   The whole purpose of this box is to share blessing and faith with someone special.  I think this would be great gift for a grandma or grandad  this Easter.

Baby Elephant Ears Review and Giveaway

Baby Elephant Ears

A whimsical nod to the Scandinavian heritage of our hometown, this classic design is done in an eclectic and sweet color scape of brown, magenta, orange, lilac and olive. Blankets are backed with white minky.

I recevied complimentary product.

Cassandra's Review- As this baby headrest support pillow  does not attach to the car seat, I will use it for my older children and not the younger because they squirm and move around and I can not always  supervise them while I am driving my vehicle.

I was prepared for the pillow fight even before I placed it in the seat.  The tag sticks out of the side of the product and so I had to find a way to cut it off without leaving it sharp.  It is sewn well but I am sure a DIY crafter can easily replicate this at half of the cost.

Overall if you are going for a longer trip or have a child that only sleeps in the car, this is a quick pillow to use and it can be washed fairly easy, so that is a huge plus.

“Show support for this mom-invented product and LIKE Baby Elephant Ears on Facebook. Facebook has made is more difficult for brands to get likes with their new rules so this would greatly help the brand.”

Ashes in the Sky (Fire in the Woods #2) by Jennifer M. Eaton @chapterxchapter @JenniferMEaton @Month9Books Blog Tour and Giveaway

Ashes in the Sky (Fire in the Woods #2) by Jennifer M. Eaton

Publication Date: March 1, 2016

Publisher: Month9Books

After inadvertently saving the world, eighteen-year-old Jessica Martinez is ready to put adventure behind her and settle back into the familiar routine of high school.

Though when she’s offered an opportunity to photograph the inside of an alien space ship, Jess jumps at the chance. After all, she’d be crazy to turn something like that down, right?

Spending time with David on the ship has definite advantages and the two seem to pick up right where they left off. But when Jess discovers a plot to sabotage David’s efforts to establish a new home for his people on another planet, neither David’s advanced tech nor Jess’s smarts will be able to save them.

ASHES IN THE SKY is an action-packed, romantic Sci Fi adventure that will leave readers screaming for more.

Jennifer M. Eaton hails from the eastern shore of the North American Continent on planet Earth. Yes, regrettably, she is human, but please don’t hold that against her. While not traipsing through the galaxy looking for specimens for her space moth collection, she lives with her wonderfully supportive husband and three energetic offspring. (And a poodle who runs the spaceport when she’s not around.)

During infrequent excursions to her home planet of Earth, Jennifer enjoys long hikes in the woods, bicycling, swimming, snorkeling, and snuggling up by the fire with a great book; but great adventures are always a short shuttle ride away.

Who knows where we’ll end up next?

Oooo! Music!

This was so much fun to put together. I was a little intimidated at first, because I usually don't listen to music when I read, but once I got into really listening to lyrics, great ideas popped up all over the place!

What fun!

So, here you have it. My official playlist for Ashes in the Sky: Book 2 of Fire in the Woods.

Chasing the Sun by The Wanted

Specific Lyrics:

I'm better So much better now I see the light, touch the light, We're together now I'd love to go into more detail, but if you love someone, and don't ever expect to see them again, it sure would be nice to run into them unexpectedly, right? When the daylight's fading We're gonna play in the dark 'Til it's golden again This reminds me of a really romantic part of the book that takes place in the dark. Sorry, but I'm not dropping any spoilers, here.

This is a Gospel by Panic at the Disco

Specific Lyrics:

They haven’t seen the best of us yet If you love me let me go ‘Cause these words are knives and often leave scars The fear of falling apart And truth be told, I never was yours Don’t try to sleep through the end of the world And bury me alive 'Cause I won’t give up without a fight

Specific Lyrics:

Wow... Ummm, just listen to the song. This could really be the theme song to an Ashes in the Sky movie, I swear!

Sooooo ... There you have it. My playlist for Ashes in the Sky.

This was great fun! Thanks so much for having me today, and I hope you don't get a song stuck in your head!
