To Dream of Dancing: Desdemona's Dreams, Volume 1
by Z.W. Mohr (Author), Aaron Damon Porter (Illustrator)

This 64 page, hard-back, fully-illustrated, fairy tale is about an 11 year old girl named Desdemona that has grown up with dreams being as real to her as the waking world is to everyone else.

Raised in the small town of Remsy by her mysterious aunts and guardian teddy bear, Desdemona has always had a hard time relating to other children and adults outside of her home, and it's only gotten worse with every passing year. Her elaborate world of dreams starts to take on a very real life, and soon she is battling to save her dream of dancing from the clutches of the mad Maestro. If she can't help finish the Maestro's composition and free her dream, then she will never want to dance again.

Here is the first volume in the fully illustrated series, Desdemona's Dreams. This story is about the power and beauty of imagination, and how dreams shape the very world around us.

Life Vision VR has partnered with children’s author, Z.W. Mohr, to bring the first of his three-book multi award-winning series, Desdemona’s Dreams, to virtual life with the launch of the Desdemona’s Dreams app.

Available in iOS and Android, the app will bring children age 5 and up into Desdemona’s world by offering panoramic, 360-degree views of flying butterflies, dancing ballerinas and a stunning Oz-like madman whose appearance shows just how far AR can take storytelling.

A virtual copy of the book itself is ever present in the app for children to read directly or sit back and listen to the author narrate the book while they’re mesmerized by the 3-D illustrations. Priced at $7.99 for the app and virtual book, Mohr and Life Vision VR have made Desdemona’s adventures accessible for this holiday season.  Also on Amazon.

I received a complimentary copy.

Cassandra's Review- A powerful story that will get young readers to think, and empower their imagination. It is a positive and very inspirational book that really any age can enjoy.
