Chase the winter blues away with Goliath Games .@GoliathGamesUS

If you are like my family and love snow but get easily bored in the house here are some great pass the time games for all ages to enjoy together.
Thanks to Goliath Games for sending these complimentary to my family!

The big boss is looking for the best builders in town! Step in line and see who can be the first to bring the blueprint cards to life. Build your structure quickly yet carefully on your platform. Then SMASH your boomer to send your opponent’s structure tumbling. There’s only room for one builder in this town… do you have what it takes? Or will you get boomed on your way to the top? For 2 players, ages 4 and up.

Cassandra's Review - For the younger kids, just stacking the objects are a lot of fun and the older kids really like the boom factor.

Googly Eyes is the hilarious family game that challenges your vision and leaves you googling for more! Put on the zany, vision-altering google eye glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you’re drawing. Is that an igloo or a turtle? A birthday cake or a fortress? Players take turns drawing and guessing, so everyone gets a chance to wear the glasses. The glasses come with three sets of lenses that range from mild changes to mind-blowing fun, so no one can see (or draw) straight–your vision will bounce off of the lenses. Googly Eyes is a fun twist on classic drawing games that lets players of different ages and skill levels compete on equal terms, since the goggles make it fun and challenging for everyone. Unlike any other drawing game you don’t need to be an artist, and the rules are simple. Just roll the die and move–the space you land on tells you which color lenses to use (easy, medium, or hard). Then pick a card, set the timer, and start drawing. If your team guesses correctly you get to roll and move again; if not, then you stay where you are on the board. The first team to reach Finish wins. For 4-16 players, ages 7 and up.

Cassandra's Review- The glasses might not be easy for everyone to use but if you do not get dizzy this is a really fun way to play something new.  Some of the kids tried playing with their eyes closed or one eye open instead of using the glasses so you can really make up your own way to enjoy.

The race is on with this exciting version of the classic hidden word puzzle – it turns a solitary activity into a fun group word game as players go on a word search. Rotate the specially-designed circular board to reveal the word that the players will race to find on this turn. Everyone plays at once, and the first player to locate the word marks it with transparent colored tiles. With twists and turns that allow players to remove tiles played by competitors, Wordsearchers find that it’s a great game for kids and families to play together (and to boggle their minds!). The player with the most tiles on the board at the end wins. For 2-4 players, ages 7 and up.

Cassandra's Review- A blast for people that love to find words no matter what age. It does not have a time limit and you can create your own game boards for more fun.

Get ready to make a splash with Hydro Strike! In this head-to-head pinball game, you’ll need fast flipping fingers to shoot the ball into your opponent’s goal. Score and your opponent will get sprayed in the face with water! Since a sprayer is aimed at both players, strike quick when you play, or you’ll get the spray! The first player to score 5 times wins. Will you win or get wet? For 2 players, ages 7 and up.

Cassandra's Review-  It can get pretty wet and would be great for the spring summer outdoor fun, but when you take a classic like pinball and add water it can only be fun right?  Yes!
