Hanukkah Books from Kar-Ben Publishing with Reviews

Way Too Many Latkes: Faigel makes the best Hanukkah latkes in Chelm. But this year she can't find her latke recipe. So she sends her husband, Shmuel, to ask the rabbi for help. In Chelm, the village of fools—oy vey!—this becomes a recipe for disaster!

Author Linda Glaser is the award-winning author of over 30 children's books. In addition to teaching and writing, she conducts writing workshops for schoolchildren and adults. She lives in Minnesota.

Cassandra's Review-  The book has humor and fun within the lining of a great story that can be shared through every generation.

The Missing Letters: It's almost Hanukkah, and the dreidel maker's shop is busy. But all's not well for the four Hebrew letters that will soon go on the wooden tops. The Heys, the Nuns, and the Shins are jealous of everyone’s favorite letter, the Gimel. They decide to hide the Gimels so that the dreidel maker can’t use them. But then the other letters learn that the Hanukkah story wouldn't be complete without the Gimels! Is it too late for the missing letters to be found?

Author Renee Londner has written several children's books including Ruby's Whistle and Stones for Grandpa, a Sydney Taylor Honor Book. Her stories have also appeared in magazines including Jewish Family, Shofar, and Spider. She lives in Connecticut.

Cassandra's Review- With knowledge and fun this book helps your little one learn about the dreidel as well as enjoy the characters that are created perfectly by the author.
