(From Goodreads)

Are You Sure You Know What Your Favorite Bible Stories Mean?

A surprising number of popular Bible stories are commonly misused or misunderstood, even by well-intentioned Christians. In this concise yet thorough book, Eric J. Bargerhuff helps you fully understand the meaning of David and Goliath, Jonah and the Big Fish, the Woman Caught in Adultery, and other well-known Bible stories.

Providing fascinating historical and scriptural insights, Bargerhuff helps you sort through modern-day distortions of fifteen well-known Bible stories and grasp their original meaning and purpose for us today.

I recevied a complimentary copy.

Cassandra's Review-  If you count the way the author choose to tell his version of they are used, you can see this book is just another long winded way for someone to find another meaning in stories that any will interpret as they see fit.  Sadly people use the Bible as a way to either teach or torment and it is up to the reader as well as the listener to take what they believe and how the perceive to heart, not what others portray as right or wrong.
