9780310749257, Snuggle Time Psalms, Glenys Nellist

Did you think the book of Psalms was only for adults? Think again! Snuggle Time Psalms, written by Glenys Nellist and illustrated by Cee Biscoe, is the perfect way to introduce little ones to the poetry book of the Bible. This padded cover board book uses simple concepts, rhyming text and adorable art to help children engage with the Psalms. Beginning with “Bedtime Peace” and ending with “Wonderful Me!” this collection of fifteen bedtime poems enables young children to discover the One who holds them in his arms, leads them like a shepherd, created them just as they are, and cherishes them with a love that never ends ... snuggle and see!

Glenys Nellist

Glenys Nellist was born and raised in a little village in northern England.   Her stories and poems have been published in children’s magazines where her writing reflects a deep passion for bringing the Bible to life for young children. Glenys lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her husband, David.

She completed an MA in children's book illustration at Cambridge School of Art in 2008.

I recevied a complimentary copy.

Cassandra's Review- The board book is great for little hands.  Super cute and each poem in super short, which is perfect for those bedtimes when you are so tired but still want to share the word of God with your little one.   The illustrations are beautiful and cozy which sets a nice mood.
