Princess Cupcake Jones Won't Go To School!

Princess Cupcake Jones returns in the second book of the Princess Cupcake Jones Series. This modern day princess, who loves her tutu and playing with her toys, is about to begin school…but says “I won’t go!”

Cassandra's Review-  A diva and a new outlook on the first day of school.  Some of my children thought  the main character was a bit too snobby and spoiled.  The book has a great blend of rhymes that will move it along at a fast pace.  In the end the children agreed it would be great to look for the rest of the series at our local library, just to see what is going to happen next!

About the Author

Ylleya Fields was hunting for books to read to her eldest daughter when she was 2, and was struck by the small selection of titles featuring modern African American characters. Blending both of her daughters’ images and personalities, Ylleya created Princess Cupcake Jones. These two books in her Princess Cupcake Jones series will be followed by more featuring this adorable young girl and her creative adventures. Fields was born in South America but now calls Ohio home along with her three daughters and one son. She lives in Cleveland, OHAbout the Illustrator
