Cassandra's Review- Quick, cost efficient and simple prep however a slow cooker does just that. If you have a super busy lifestyle and no time to cook this is not going to be a good fit as it can take up to 4 hours for some of these recipes and are only for two people.

I would be scared to leave my appliance on when I was out of the home for the day, but some people will.  If you do have an extra hour or more in your day and happen to be spending it at home this is a really great book of ideas and the photos help to make a good decision.
