Never Unfriended: The Secret to Finding & Keeping Lasting Friendships by Lisa-Jo Baker Review

Never Unfriended: The Secret to Finding & Keeping Lasting Friendships

As the community manager at the website incourage.me since 2010, Lisa-Jo Baker has had the chance to engage hundreds of conversations with women about friendship. Starting with that guarantee from the most faithful friend who ever lived—Jesus—this book is a step-by-step guide to friendships you can trust.

It answers the questions that lurk under the surface of every friendship—What are we afraid of? What can’t we change? What can we change? And where do we start?—with personal stories and practical tips to help you make the friends, and be the friend, that lasts.

Lisa-Jo Baker

Lisa-Jo Baker is the author of Never Unfriended and Surprised by Motherhood, as well as the Bible Study, We Saved You a Seat. She lives just outside Washington, DC, with her husband and their three very loud kids, where she connects, encourages and champions women online and in person through her honest take on life and her ability to laugh at herself and learn out loud from her mistakes.

As the community manager at the website incourage.me since 2010, Lisa-Jo has had the chance to engage hundreds of conversations with women about friendship. And she’s convinced that the shortest distance between strangers is a shared awkward story. She’d love to connect with you at her website: lisajobaker.com or on Instagram @lisajobaker

Cassandra's Review-  I have dealt strongly with women who were negative and catty, all through life and for me it was very hard to connect on a deeper level.

I would say that of the thousands of women I know or have met, that only 2 or 3 remained special in my heart.  I do deal with people daily, but I do not have many bonding connections simply because I have been taken down so many times physically and mentally.   Even my own mother was hateful and hurtful.

Anyway this book is geared to help to friendships and women.  There are so many women that actually could benefit from reading this even teens.   There is faith based strength behind the writing style.
