Filter Snap Review

Premium furnace & air filters, with better construction, delivered as a subscription
Quality Frame. By using a 2-part, heavy duty cardboard frame that is glued together, our filters will stay put, and will be a breeze to install and remove. We also include a cardboard grid on both sides as well as a supporting metal grid that is glued to the filter media for added rigidity.

More Pleats. A little extra filter media means that you get more pleats, and more surface area to trap pollutants. Our filter will truly perform for it’s expected lifecycle without making your system work harder.

Shane Kenny
The Founder Shane Kenny has been in the filtering business for over 15 years.  One day it dawned on him that if replacing his air filters was such a hassle for him, it had to be a hassle for plenty of others. From this initial idea, FilterSnap and the concept of filters delivered to your door when you need them was born.

Cassandra's Review- The fit and quality was perfect. The filter is easy to place in and ready to go in minutes.  It is great to have a service that delivers right to you at a good price.

As Kitch defends his new drone from a local crime syndicate, he befriends one of its members, a young woman named Maya. With Maya’s encouragement and DR1 leading the way, the three travelers set out on a journey to find Kitch’s father. Potential enemies lurk around every corner and Kitch, Maya and DR1 must work together to navigate the unknown and find the answers they seek.

Includes 2 additional building ideas
Rods and Connectors made in the USA
Perfect for kids ages 7+
Requires 2 "AA" batteries, not included
UPC: 744476346926

Cassandra's Review-   In three hours a child with special needs was able to build this and start playing with the toy.  It is fun to watch my family put this together. The pieces are a little small and hard to put together if you do not know how.  The beast itself does not walk good on a smooth surface or hardwood floors, it just keeps slipping around with no real grip.  The buttons on the remote were a little confusing to my kids, but they learn quick.  This is a more advanced toy and so ages 7 and up is a good recommendation.

Believe In Magic Inspiral Pendant

Handcrafted out of solid sterling silver, the beautiful Inspiral pendants have the hand stamped message: believe in magic - along the graceful, ribbon-like curves. A beautiful pattern adorns the inner curve and the pendant comes hanging on a sterling, 18" chain to complete the piece - and, as with all of their pieces, this pendant comes gift boxed.

Pendant: 2"

Cassandra's Review-  Beautifully crafted and a really nice length, but the words are kind of hard to read and because it is in a spiral you have to turn it to read all of the message.  The chain is very thin and delicate.  This is a very nice gift!

Dead-Jed-Cover
Dead Jed is Shaun of the Dead meets Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Jed's not your typical junior high geek. He is, to use the politically-correct term, cardiovascularly-challenged. And while his parents have attempted to shield him from the implications of being 'different' for as long as they could (Jed was 8 and at a friend's sister's birthday party when he blew his lips off onto the cake in front of everyone, finally prompting the “Big Talk” from his parents and an emergency SuperGlue repair by his dad), 7th grade at Pine Hollow Middle School as a target of Robbie the supreme school bully and his pack of moronic toadies is rapidly becoming unbearable.
From being stuffed in a filled trash can as “dead meat” and into a trophy case as the bully's “prize,” to literally having his hand pulled off in the boys' room (Jed's always losing body parts. Luckily, a good stapler and some duct tape and he's back in the action) and a cigarette put in it and try to frame him for the recent reports of smoking in the school, Jed's had enough and is ready to plan his revenge. Besides, it's awesome what you can do when you're already dead!

Dead-Jed-2-Cover
The first part of seventh grade was rough on Jed, but things are looking up now that Christmas is almost here. As with past Christmases, Jed asks for the one thing he’s always wanted–a dog–and again, his parents tell him they’re not ready. But fate has a different plan when Jed sees a dog get run over by a car. Then, it happens. Jed suddenly has a pet, Tread, a zombie dog bearing his namesake–a tire tread down his back. Jed may have gained a dog, but he loses his best friend Luke, who fears the way Jed created his undead pet.
When Jed returns to school, he finds a mysterious group called the No Zombies Now Network spreading rumors of the dangers the undead pose to normal people. Forced to disprove Hollywood stereotypes, Jed has his work cut out for him as stories of a zombie dog begin to circulate. Jed could be expelled if he can’t expose the NZN Network as a fraud. Jed needs help from his kind of girlfriend Anna, especially after he discovers Luke has joined the shadowy group.
Once again navigating the treacherous waters of middle school, Jed does his best to stay in one piece. Only this time he’ll need even more duct tape and staples than usual.

Then, one day, she found everything she’s been looking for: a passion for the written word and true love. Writing not only enabled her to open her heart, it led her to southwestern France, where she’s now married to a sexy French rocket scientist she met over twenty years ago, a stepmom to two incredible kids, and the adoptive mother to one ridiculously expensive Bengal cat. When she’s not trekking from Provence to the Pyrénées, tasting wine in American-sized glasses, or embracing her inner Julia Child while deliberating what constitutes the perfect boeuf bourguignon, Samantha is making her best effort to relearn those dreaded conjugations.

Cassandra's Review- So my box came in shipped via regular usps in a decent amount of time.  It contained 6 SAMPLE size products.  The sample is just like a free sample at a store, they are not full sized products.  The box I received had a sample of a soap bar included, it was very fragrant and mixed with the other edible samples, did not seem very yummy, so I would have preferred either soap or food not really both in the same closed box because even though it is super tiny it just does not complement the rest of the samples.  It is like getting advertisements in a box.  It was a surprise and hey, they are always fun, right?   So if you like paying for free samples, this is the right kind of box for you!

Cassandra's review -  The designs and illustrations are very nice.  The hardcover is very thick and the book is bound of excellent quality.  A few changes I would have like would be one, if the pages could be ripped out,  also it is hard to color without the markers or other mediums leaking through to the other side. For this reason I would have like not to have different pictures on each side of the same paper.  It is also very hard to color in the center or crack of the book so pictures that are placed as two sheets are not as fun to color.

JMK
Jackie Morse Kessler grew up in Brooklyn, NY, with a cranky cat and overflowing shelves filled with dolls and books. Now she’s in Upstate NY with another cranky cat, a loving husband, two sons, and overflowing shelves filled with dragons and books (except when her sons steal her dragons). She has a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature, and yet she’s never read any Jane Austen (with or without zombies). She also has a master’s degree in media ecology. (The living study of technology and culture. Which is cool, but she still can’t figure out how to use Tweetdeck.)
Jackie spends a lot of time writing, reading, and getting distracted by bright and shiny new ideas. (She just came up with a new idea right now.) She has a weakness for chocolate and a tendency to let her cat take over her office chair.

I Wish by Elizabeth Langston Blog Tour Giveaway $25 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash

I wishI Wish by Elizabeth Langston What Lacey needs is a miracle. What she gets is a genie with rules. Lacey Linden is hiding the truth of her life—a depressed mom, a crumbling house, and bills too big to pay. While her high school classmates see a girl with a ready smile and good grades, Lacey spends her evenings seeking ways to save her family. On a get-cash-quick trip to the flea market, Lacey stumbles over a music box that seemingly begs her to take it home. She does, only to find it is inhabited by a gorgeous "genie." He offers her a month of wishes, one per day, but there's a catch. Each wish must be humanly possible. Grant belongs to a league of supernatural beings, dedicated to serving humans in need. After two years of fulfilling the boring wishes of conventional teens, he is one assignment away from promotion to a challenging new role with more daring cases. Yet his month with Lacey is everything that he expects and nothing like he imagines. Lacey and Grant soon discover that the most difficult task of all might be saying goodbye.
Praise for I Wish From School Library Journal (I Wish #1) Langston wisely limits the power of wishes, so there can be no easy fixes to complex problems. [The story] is all the better for it, putting the focus on the compelling and sympathetic characters. … the denouement offers enough twists and unresolved questions to have readers wishing the next book was already available. From K-books blog: I Wish is a fantastic storyline, with a dash of romance that is perfect for any YA fan. I can't recommend it enough. From Reese’s Reviews blog: This is definitely one of the most beautiful and amazingly written books I’ve ever read. Elizabeth Langston has written a fantastic story that drew me in from the first page.   Wishing for You New   Wishing for You by Elizabeth Langston She’s a girl who can’t remember. He’s the guy she can’t forget… It’s her final semester of high school, and Kimberley Rey is curious to discover what will come next. She needs to pick a college, but her memory disability complicates the choice. Will her struggles to remember make it impossible to leave home? Help arrives through an unexpected and supernatural gift. Grant is a “genie” with rules. He can give her thirty wishes (one per day for a month) as long as the tasks are humanly possible. Kimberley knows just what to ask for--lessons in how to live on her own. But her wishes change when a friend receives a devastating diagnosis. As she joins forces with Grant to help her friend, Kimberley learns that the ability to live in the moment--to forget--may be more valuable than she ever knew.
ElizabethAuthor Elizabeth Langston Elizabeth Langston lives in North Carolina, halfway between the beaches and the mountains. She has two college-age daughters and one old husband. When she's not writing software or stories, Elizabeth loves to travel with her family, watch shows on dance or Sherlock Holmes, and dream about which restaurant ought to get her business that night.
